FireServe Peering and Internet Exchange
FireServe is working to establish a carrier-neutral peering point and
local Internet exchange at 900 Main St. in Klamath Falls, OR. We have
a GigE (1000Mbps) switching fabric in place and are extending an open
invitation for any provider able to extend a local loop into 900 Main to
interconnect to the exchange. The exchange will support both IPv4 and
IPv6, with BGP peering between participants in the exchange. Peering
with FireServe is also available at any of our inter-city POP's at speeds up
to 1000Mbps (GigE) or at our mountain-top radio communications sites at speeds up
to 155Mbps (OC3).
We're updating the content on
our website, but you can contact us at 541-273-4808 or by
Email if you're
interested in learning more about peering with FireServe or participating in
the Internet exchange in the meantime.
